  • I have to agree. As a fellow atheist, I am still able to be transported by beautiful music. Religious or secular, it doesn't matter, as long as it's soaring and grand, it will give me a rush.

  • In most other advanced countries, politicians don't discuss their religious views openly, or they do so only rarely. It is considered to be irrelevant to their ability to do their job.

  • Just the facts, people. Freedom of religion is a right in this country, guaranteed in our constitution (you know, that document that the right keeps saying the left has no respect for). It's one of the rights that we like to hold up as a glowing example of what sets us apart from other countries.
